We all have friends that have different personalities. Some friends are easier to get along with than others, but no matter what type of friendships you have in order to be drama free there are a few rules to adhere to. Every friendship has special rules that friends come up with, but the basic, drama-free, long friendship rules are as follows:

- Be kind. Make sure no matter what your friends are going through you are open-minded enough to be kind in their time of need. It could be another relationship issue, family concerns, career issues, etc. Everyone goes through things at their own times and just because you're past it doesn't mean you can't lend a listening ear, give advice or just be kind and tell them you're there for them not matter what.
- Be attentive. You have to be able to listen to what your friends are telling you. Being attentive means it is not always about you.
- Be supportive. Being a supportive friend means making it to what you can, supporting them in all ways possible. It could be a move, relationship change, just laying around on the sofa while they go through bad days. No matter what it is give the same support or more than you would expect. \
- Be Realistic. Do things you can actually do that agree with your financial status, time, and mental state. You can go on trips, do fun things, etc. Just make sure your doing it within your means.
- Be Honest. One of the best things you can do for a friendship is to be honest. It doesn't have to be brutal, hardcore honest, but it should still be honest. This means being honest with yourself and your friends. When you're honest you avoid drama. You allow yourself to be stress free in the relationship and you build better bonds with the real friends in your life.
- Be You. You don't have to change who you are or what you like to have friends. Do the things you like to do with people who like to do them.
There are different friends for different things. There are some friends you've known since you were young and they seem more like family than friends. They know everything about your family and everyone knows they will be at family functions. There are friends you have from work, where you only go have drinks every now and then and hang out at work. There are friends that know a lot of your family and friends, but haven't been around as long as your childhood friends, but you do a lot with them. You may even have travel friends. The ones who love to travel and are up for a getaway when ever you are. There are friends you talk to everyday and tell every aspect of your life. No matter what friend or set of friends you're dealing with, you have to remember that you're there friend just like they are yours. You get what you give out. So, you want to be the best friend you can be. No matter what. o happy to share this with you loving folks. Keep loving & living.
