Watching holiday movies during the holidays is expected. During the holiday season many people watch their oldie but goodie favorites along with new movies that come out. Here are 8 holiday movies we call oldie but goodies and great to watch with your partner during the holiday season.

1) Home Alone - This can seem like a kids movie, but adults still love this Christmas holiday movie. It has so many laughable parts that it makes you wonder just how someone could have a Christmas like this.

2) The Best Man Holiday - This has parts that make you tear up, but it is a great movie about friendship and working through hard things. You really feel the Christmas spirit in this movie.

3) The Grinch - Can anyone say Jim Carrey is a crazy person. This is such a holiday treat. Laughter, tears, and joy. Does anyone know the meaning of Christmas? Where are you Christmas?

4) Office Christmas Party - For anyone who deals with crazy people at work this is a holiday favorite. Who doesn’t want to break out and party like their crazy with work buddies.

5) ELF - This movie is just fun to watch. Will Ferrell is hilarious. This human raised by elf’s then has to go back home and live in NYC. Only in the movies.

6) This Christmas - The cast of this movie is incredible. There is drama, fun, fighting and so much more in this movie. It shows a realistic Christmas holiday in a black family dealing with their inner struggles.

7) Jingle Jangle - This is a newer movie, but captured the hearts of so many with its storyline. This movies tells the story of a formerly successful toy maker that lost his joy due to his apprentice stealing his prized invention. Afters years go by his granddaughter is determined to make things right.

8) The Holiday Calendar - A precious movie for all ages. It has love, mystery and unexpected turns. It's about a struggling photographer who inherits her grandmothers antique advent Christmas countdown calendar that happens to predict the future.
