Yesterday I was driving down Baseline in the Laveen area and looked over and saw this cool looking patio with lights. When I got there they were closed, so I told myself I would come back. Today, I walked into the coffee & wine shop and it was super cool. The vibe is eclectic and relaxing. Check out Hanai in Laveen with me.

I ordered the Watermelon cucumber mint Refresher, it taste refreshing and light. It was delicious. They offer food and alcoholic beverages as well. The decor is something to marvel over. The colors and theme play a big role in the ambiance of the place.

The food and drinks are affordable and creative. They have a small room that you can use for working, events or just some alone time in a different environment. According to The New Times, "The word “Hãnai” is not only the name of the new business, but a motto for how the Senters live and serve the community. Hãnai is a term used in Hawaiian culture to describe the friends who become family — adopted family".
"Hãnai became a reality when the Senters signed a lease for a space on Southern Avenue in July 2021. After nine months of renovating the former CrossFit gym, Hãnai opened its doors in April and celebrated its grand opening in May 2022. The coffee shop employs foster teens to help them develop skills and experience in the workforce" The New Times.

One of the things that caught my eye about this place is they also have a non-profit they donate to with each order. They are helping with placement in foster care. Foster care in Arizona is high and children are being placed in the foster care system daily. Having a place that supports our children protects our future.
We want to give a big shout out to Hanai AZ in Laveen. We appreciate you bringing something fun, playful and unique to Arizona. Another fabulous meal to share with you wonderful people. Happy Eating.
