When people think of Arizona they think Phoenix, Scottsdale & Tucson. Many people don't think about the smaller cities let alone the really small cities in Arizona. If you live in Arizona you'd be surprised to know about these 5 cities you most likely didn't even know were in Arizona.

#1) Arcosanti, Arizona: According to their website "Arcosanti is a place for serenity and solitude, as well as culture and conviviality. Overnight guests get a first-hand immersive experience of life inside the arcology. As an overnight guest, you can enjoy a simple-but-elegant guestroom with beautiful canyon views, where architecture and nature work together." Cosanti Foundation started the construction of Arcosanti in 1970. It is a prototype of living concepts by late architect Paolo Soleri (1919-2013), who believed that building a sustainable city would improve the world. They grow and eat their own food, and try to live lives without hurting the environment. The cool thing is you can stay here and experience the art of community, socially, energetically and economically enriched culture.

#2 Tubac, Arizona: This small town in Arizona is about 2 1/2 hours from Phoenix. According to the website: "The first mention of Tubac in the Spanish record was in 1726, when a Jesuit priest baptized Native people there.
